In this project, students were asked to look beyond the recognizable and consider the forms that comprise an object. Students selected a fragment from a common object and changed the scale to translate the part into a pure form without conceptual reference. Students also learned techniques and skills necessary to build a detailed object and practiced ways of organizing work when solving complex problems.
